The House of Links
Located in Delhi, this 3800 sq ft Duplex, designed by Studio Aartarc, led by architects Vishakha Sareen and Anant Sareen, is a refined transformation that reimagines the space into a harmonious home.
The canvas was rather unusual as the homeowners intended to convert two separate 3BHK apartments into a sprawling, cohesive duplex. This meant a full-scale renovation with extensive spatial reorganization, beginning of course, with physically bridging the two floors. A custom-designed modern staircase becomes the central focus, almost akin to a work of art.
Spanning two floors of 1,900 sq. ft. each, it converges minimalism, modern, and clever spatial configurations in this duplex designed for both familial joy and functionality. Every space tells its own story through texture and colors while connecting seamlessly with the rest of the house. Featuring two master bedrooms, two guest rooms, a recreational space for meditation and yoga, a small lounge with study, and an open breathable kitchen along with an open living-dining area. Each space was carefully planned around daily routines, habits, and moments of pause, allowing colour, pattern, and material to emerge as natural extensions of function, all wrapped in a palette of inviting warm tones.
Ultimately, this 4-BHK duplex is defined not only by statement pieces, but by the process. It is the result of patience, dialogue, and trust—between client and designer, and between function and expression. The finished home feels settled rather than staged, expressive yet calm. An interior shaped by memory, culture, and time, it is a home that does not seek attention, but quietly belongs to those who live within it.
